This year we invited entrants to all categories in the UK Advancing Healthcare Awards to tell us the ways in which their projects were `green’ and these were entered into the Year of Green Action award for AHPs and healthcare scientists demonstrating environmental awareness, kindly sponsored by DEFRA.

We received a wealth of ideas and suggestions covering many aspects of the green agenda.
