What is Airmeet
Airmeet is an online venue for hosting events. It allows participants to interact on virtual tables and speed networking through videos. It enables chat – public and private with other attendees, dedicated Q&A section and reactions (emojis) – you can express your likes, claps, laughs and love for the event during the live sessions.
What is the best browser to use?
Airmeet supports all modern browsers. However, we recommend the latest version of Chrome to be used for the best experience—chrome 79 or latest. Please do not try to use Internet Explorer as this is an unsupported web browser.
Will I need access to my camera and microphone
Yes, in order to maximise the benefits of the Social Lounge with speed networking and joining a table you will need access to your camera and microphone.To grant permission for this, try the following steps:
- When accessing Airmeet, you will be prompted to Allow or Block permission for using the camera and microphone by Airmeet.com. Click on Allow for camera and microphone.
- To change settings in your Chrome browser, go to Settings, then Site settings and then, click Camera or Microphone and put Airmeet.com under Allow section.
If you are using a work device you may have to discuss with your IT to enable the use of camera and microphone for this particular website.
What is a social lounge?
Social lounge is the space where you can be seated at virtual tables, and interact with people in the same table. People can also move between tables to meet and join interactions in other tables. You are also able to participate in speed networking.How can I see who else is attending
Once you have entered the event, you can click on Attendee on right panel, it will reveal a list of all the attendees currently online.
